In 2016, NSW fenced 3 nature reserves

In 2016, NSW fenced 3 nature reserves to keep out foxes and cats. A number of native species had been gone for 100 years. 
Thirteen species have returned and are breeding again. This is part of a larger project to restore native species in spite of introduced predators.
More areas are fenced and the project is extended another ten years.

This is another conservation success story. It doesn't solve Austrailia's feral cat problem, but it does work around it to keep species from extinction.
If they can do this much, who knows what else they can do. The important thing is that they are doing something.
