Volunteers clean beach for shore birds

I came across this article and it is a wonderful thing. The shore birds will be returning soon to Glace bay to nest. The beaches are a mess after the winter and there is a lot of garbage that could harm the birds. So volunteers have been organized to go out and clean the area. How wonderful is that!

We hear so many stories about wildlife being harmed. It is nice to know that people are doing good things for wildlife.

Well that's just amazing. How wonderful that these people should give up their leisure time to clear the beach. There are indeed some lovely people in this world.

I know. I was impressed. How is it that we as humans can do such good things and yet on the same day another group of humans is doing something terrible.

I guess we just have to be glad that there are so many good people.
