An Edmonton car dealership has been overrun with rabbits when a local farmer moved away and rabbits were left behind. They ran wild and multiplied and were getting killed on the road and generally not doing very well.
Fortunately someone stepped in and rescued the bunnies and has been finding homes for them.

It sounds like the situation is under control and most of the rabbits have homes already. They are certainly safer and getting better care.
It never ends well when people turn their rabbits loose. If it were not for a caring person stepping in to help this situation would have ended badly. Once again thoughtless people created a situation that others had to fix.
