Since the day of the Beirut explosion, Animals Lebanon has been rescuing people's pets. Over 300 volunteers have rescued over 300 animals.
The rescues and the reuniting are still going on. For people who have lost so much, reuniting with a pet is everything.
Sadly some people cannot keep there pets now or at least require help to feed them. Animals Lebanon helps with food donations.
Where necessary, animals are being sent to places where they can find homes.

Without the work of the tireless volunteers of Animals Lebanon the future for many pets would have been tragic. Many were trapped, all were traumatized.
Because of their work, people and their pets had as happy an ending as possible. Disasters happen and we cannot do anything about that, but where there are animal welfare groups working we can at least try to rescue pets and reunite them with their families. It has been over a month and and they are still working hard to help the animals of Beirut. Well done Animals Lebanon.
