It is almost time for the Christmas bird count. For over 120 years bird watchers in North and South America have been counting birds at Christmas.
This gives us an idea of how bird populations are doing.

Wherever you are there is probably a site where you can register your own bird count.
It will be interesting to see how the bird counts are for 2023. We always hope that the bird populations are healthy and strong.
