I know we have tunnels and the like in certain places here.
A new road was built near to where I grew up. It linked to a new section of motorway but cut across a farmer's land. A bridge was built so that the cows could make their way back to the farm for milking, as they were accustomed to doing, without having to cross the road. They very quickly got used to it and it is quite a sight. Twice a day the whole herd crosses what looks like a pedestrian bridge, in single file. They are very orderly and patiently queue for their turn to cross.
