Greyhound racing has a real dark side. I don't know if there any good statistics, but not all the greyhound puppies are allowed to grow up. Dogs that are injured or do not win are often euthanized.
There are greyhound rescues, but they only get to rescue a small number of the dogs that are part of the industry.
I admire the work of the activists who are bringing the truth to the public. If we are going to see an end to greyhound racing we have to keep pushing against it. Sports that use animals like this are always a problem. Animals get hurt and animals that do not perform well are considered expendable. I hope they are able to shut the track down for the sake of the dogs.
