Take a look at Barrie now!
#5
I can't understand why they had him. They certainly didn't bond with him. He had stopped eating for them and had developed mouth sores and shedding problems.
He wasn't thriving because he wasn't appreciated. Even a lizard needs to feel loved and wanted. I think they did the minimum of care and got a minimum of results.

I have his tank set up in my kitchen so he is surrounded by activity.  Even if I am not directly doing something for Barrie I am there and he sees me and I see him. If he is really hungry I can feed him right away. If his eyes are bothering him I can do something right away. He knows that he is not alone.

This is totally different from Jake Krinkle Snake. He is a snake with serious problems and his inexperienced owner really did try.
The guy hated to let him go, but he recognized that he just couldn't look after him. Jake has thrived with me because I am able to do the extras that he needs.

All Barrie needed was a little love and attention. How could they not give him a name. Of course it would have been a stupid name and I would have needed to change it.
