Today is National Cat Day! Cats deserve a special day. They are very unique animals and they are very much a part of human lives throughout history.

This is a good day to be aware of the cats in your life. You can give extra treats and snuggles to your own cats.
You can  give treats to the other people's cats in your life. You can check out your local shelter to adopt a cat. If you can't adopt a cat you can donate to the shelter or the local pet food bank. You can help support your local group that works with street cats. There are lots of ways to celebrate National Cat Day.
