What a wonderful story. Even though Roadie didn't have a lot of time left, he certainly had quality time. Whatever he went through in his life, he certainly ended it well.
Don Hill is right, Roadie rescued him as much as he rescued Roadie.
Isn't it wonderful how such a chance encounter brought such a memorable experience to everyone involved.
