Every year at Narcisse, Manitoba, the hibernating Garter Snakes all emerge around the same time. Tens of thousands of these snakes will emerge.
It is also their breeding season. It is quite a tourist attraction.

This is one of the few tourist sites I would be interested in visiting.
Can you imagine ten thousand Garter snakes at the same time. 
It must be awesome.
