She must have thought he wasn't coming home after six months. She is so completely overwhelmed with emotions. It is almost funny, except that it is so beautiful. I bet she clings to him day and night at first. She will be his shadow. She won't even want to go to sleep for fear that his return is just a dream.
Dogs really do love us more than they can express.
