Lilies deadly for cats

Thanks for the reminder! Scarily, lilies are highly toxic to cats, and many people remain ignorant of the fact. Even if a feline does not eat the flowers themselves, merely brushing against them and licking the pollen off fur may be enough to cause acute illness. I always make it a point to check any bouquets for lilies before bringing them inside. It's just not worth the risk. I had no idea they were toxic for dogs, too! Well, good that one should always be extra cautious when you have pets around.
