Animals we fell in love with in 2024

There are always lots of animals in the news. These ones were special because we fell in love with them.

I love the goat joining the marathon. Even better is him getting a medal for his efforts.
It would be great if it was a yearly tradition.
A cat turning 24 in 2024 is amazing. That cat was born in the year of the millennium. Remember Y2K, the year we thought everything would fall apart. 
Russell the cat was born that year and he is still going strong. 
I am sure there are many other animal stories that we didn't hear about.
I hope somebody posts them online.
