Hero dog rescues his person

Waldo the Corgi has over 1300 followers on social media. He is already a star. Now he is a hero. He was out walking with his person, Jesse Parker, when she slipped on the sidewalk. She hit the ground hard and her food was clearly badly broken. 
When she started to call for help, Waldo  took over. He ran to someone getting into a car and dragged him over. Then Waldo took off and came back with their landlord. Jesse was taken to hospital and they operated on her foot. If the surgery had been delayed, she would have lost her foot.
She is now resting comfortably at home with Waldo, her husband and her cat.

Waldo is not just another pretty face on social media. He has shown us what he is made of. When an emergency happened, he was up to the challenge.
He didn't just find one person to help. He also brought someone who knew Jesse. Now thanks to Waldo, Jesse will recover and walk again.
I am sure some of that walking will be with Waldo.
