Bear rescued after two years in a 20ft cage

A Syrian Brown Bear was welded into 20 foot cage and kept for two years as an attraction at a local restaurant in Armenia.
He was kept outside no matter what the weather. He lived in filth.
International Animal Rescue and the Foundation for the Preservation of Wildlife and Cultural Assets along with local Emergency Services cut him free and took him to one of the Foundations rescue centers. He is now in a nice clean enclosure, with plenty of soft bedding. He slept for 7 days.
They are now fund raising to keep Noah there for a couple of years.

How fortunate for Noah that he was rescued. Life will be so much better for him now. He was captive born so he can't be released, but he could be placed where he could live his life comfortably in peace.
Sadly many more bears are living in similar conditions. Hopefully they can be rescued from their suffering and given a chance at life.
