Thinking of getting a rabbit for Easter, don't!

This Easter do the right thing and get chocolate bunnies. Adopting a real rabbit is a serious decision. 
Rabbits are wonderful pets, but they are a lot of work. Be sure that you are prepared for how much work before you bring a rabbit home.

To often people get rabbits as pets because it is easter and everywhere there are pictures of cute bunnies.
They are really cute and they are really sweet, but they are really  a high needs pet. They are very sensitive and they do need to be spayed or neutered.
The cost of spaying and neutering is quite high for a rabbit.

If you really want a rabbit, do the research and be sure that you can look after the rabbit properly. Then go and adopt one from a shelter.
Sadly there are always rabbits at the shelters needing homes.
