Rescuing Lenny the Loggerhead Sea Turtle

A diver off of Florida spotted a Loggerhead Sea Turtle in trouble. He wasn't swimming well and his right front flipper was damaged and partly missing.
It looked like he had been attacked by a shark. The diver with the crew of Sundance Watersports set out the rescue the turtle. They named him Lenny.
Rescuing Lenny was no easy thing.  He is the biggest Loggerhead they had ever seen. They got him in the boat. On shore they transferred him to The Turtle Hospital in Marathon Florida. Under their care Lenny recovered and has been released. Mike, the diver, has seen him a number of times since. Lenny comes up 
and swims around the ship.

It is so good to have a story with a happy ending. A sea turtle got hurt, he got helped and he is back in the ocean again.
It took a team of people to do it, but it happened.

They do good things for turtles. Lenny was lucky they were there for him.
