Giving Rhinos radioactive horns

Preventing Rhino poaching is very important. A number of ideas have been tried. The latest one is to inject a small amount of radioactive isotope into the rhino horn. It is not going to harm the rhino, but it would set off a sensor at an airport if anyone tried to smuggle rhino horn.

 If they can't smuggle it they can't make money from it. The illegal wildlife  trade is all about the money. The horn itself would be mildly radioactive so it would be of no use for traditional medicines  or anything else.
Of course for this to work, they need to let the poachers know it is happening. This could work. It won't hurt the Rhinos and it won't disrupt their lives.
Sadly there are so few rhinos left, they can probably treat them all.
