There is also a problem with the salmon and the rivers. If the salmon have trouble spawning, there are fewer salmon for the whales to eat.
We have messed up the rivers so badly. Work is being done to fix things, but it takes time.

Either directly or indirectly we have had a negative impact on the grey whales and a lot of other sea creatures.
