My friendly neighbourhood coyotes

My neighbourhood has acquired a family of coyotes. There have been a number of sightings and encounters.

A coyote on the veranda is not too surprizing, but one in your bedroom is something you don't see every day.
I literally live a couple of blocks away from this story. I walked a block to the store for milk today and one of the coyotes was walking along the sidewalk on the other side of the road. They are not afraid of people or dogs. I think they are here to stay. So our local raccoons and skunks have competition.
It would be a good idea to check your screens and not leave your door open.
The coyote I saw looked very healthy.
