I was glad to see the animal rescue operations in Nepal. I also saw a rescued white dog being carried in one of those excavator vehicles, being reunited with a woman who was overjoyed to see (him?/her?)
The dog looked a bit numb, though appeared clean and uninjured, but snuggled into her neck as she carried him away.
I learned the other day that dogs are considered sacred animals in Nepal. I didn't know that before.
I am sure there are many animals of all species who have died, but there are also numbers being rescued.
