I think most pesticides are banned in the city. The park areas are being allowed to grow wild with flowers. Whole neighbourhoods are working to plant bee/butterfly/bird friendly plants. So the bees can survive in the city.
With a bee rescue group working to help the bees they will do any better.
I am sure that Toronto is not the only place to have Bee Rescues. I think we have great cause for hope in the long run.
How odd that the cities will be able to save the country. We will have the bees that are needed to pollinate the crops.
