Colorado Lake over-run with Goldfish!

I don't know why they can't rescue some of the fish. People are willing. They could do a massive rescue adopt-a-thon before they clear out the lake. If they have to drain the lake they could save all the fish. It would make them look like good guys.

The fault is people who abandoned their pets, but why do the officials have to be bad guys.

Pets are for life, but people have no idea how long goldfish get or how long they live.
