If I am understanding the statistics, Europe is moving away from fur farming. Europe may have been a major fur producer, but that is going to end as more and more countries regulate and ban fur farming.
This would be a good time for them to switch their farms over to good healthy crops. Maybe they could grow fresh veggies and fruits. They could turn their sheds into green houses.

Do we need the coat (or multiple coats!) of an animal who has lived a dire caged life and died a pretty dire death -to look pretty? Nope.
The fur industry is going down the pan. And the sooner the better.
