It looks like there is a lot of good stuff happening. There may be a horrible slaughter going on, but there is clearly a strong opposition to it.
I think the animal rights/protection movement in Asia is gaining strength. Deeply held ideas about how animals can be treated are being challenged. The younger generation is influenced by the rest of the world. They are clearly seeing things differently.
I think we can hope for major changes. Just like the things we struggle with in the west, it will take time, but the change will come.
I hope to live long enough to hear people take about animal abuse as a thing of the past and wonder how it was ever allowed.
