Pets who don't want us to leave

It is easier to leave a cat or dog because you can find someone who will care for them. I cat sit for the neighbours and the cat and I have a bond. She hates them to go away, but she understands what is happening.

I don't like leaving the guinea pigs because few people will give them the care I give them. They need a lot of attention. No wonder people were so happy when they found I would board a guinea pig or bunny.
I keep them in my kitchen and let them free roam if they want.

I had problems finding someone who could care for the hamsters so I hated going away. I wouldn't dream of going away right now. Snake care is tricky. I would be scared someone would leave a lid unlocked.
I think the snakes would miss me.

When I had cats they used to count the socks going into my suitcase so they could tell how long I would be gone.
