Great efforts to protect Western Painted Turtles

The turtles would have been fine on their own with out all the mess of train derailments and things being dumped. It is amazing that they were able to dig the babies up and protect them. It is more incredible that they plan to give them clean sand for their beaches.

That is determination and they deserve a award or some kind of thank-you from all of us.
