The Capybaras are still loose in Toronto
#1
There is a tiny little "zoo" with a few animals who live comfortable in High Park, a large park near where I live.  This morning two of their Capybaras got out while they were shirting them.  High Park is a large wooded park with a large pond and some small streams. It is a perfect place for a capybara to take a vacation.

Good luck getting them back. Until winter sets in they can do very well on their own.

Last year it was a Peacock on the loose, this year capybaras. High Park is an interesting place. The Peacock headed back on his own. I wouldn't count on the Capybaras doing that. They may need a large supply of special treats to even get them to come out of hiding.  I am sure they have found a perfect resting place and are munching away on local vegetation. They are pretty big so they should be easy to spot.
