Pigs bound for slaughter in a truck rollover

A truck with almost 200 pigs in it (over crowding for sure) rolled over on the road just outside the processing plant.
Broadcasters are saying a few pigs were killed even though it is actually 42 dead pigs. Maybe their math skills are not so good. A few is more like three not 42.

The living pigs were led from the truck and straight into the slaughterhouse.
That seems kind of cold and unfeeling. No effort was made to treat them like accident victims.

You will notice that Anita Krajnc was there and arrested again. She could tie up our courts with cases for years. Of course each court appearance brings powerful publicity.

I wish some of the pigs could have made it to safety.

I guess after surviving an accident it is a little hard to think about which way to run.
