Humpback whale trapped in the ice

Sadly the whale has died. Rescuers were able to save a number of dolphins. When the winds blow the ice inland, sea mammals can be trapped by it and even trapped in it. The whale was completely trapped in the ice and had trouble breathing.

It is sad they couldn't save the whale, but you have to admire the efforts made that saved the trapped dolphins.
