Axis the dog saved a woman who fell in a river in northern British Columbia. Rescue workers couldn't reach her so Axis's owner sent him into the river to "bring" her. He was able to reach the woman and bring her close enough to the rescue team so they could bring her out of the water.

It is fortunate that Axis was trained by his people to "bring" if someone was lost or in the water. They were thinking of their own children. For the person that was rescued it was fortunate that Axis was there. She could easily have been lost.
Once again, a dog saves the day.
