Koori is fine. He was on the electricity pole first thing, cawing at me (in the bathroom) to hurry up because he wanted his sandwich.
I noticed that a couple of his feathers looked a bit askew. Otherwise he seemed fine. He followed me half way as usual when I went to Sally's.
I had no idea Squirrels would attack Crows. I don't know if that was just a bad squabble over food rights....or if the Squirrel was trying to prey on him. But I am glad I came back when I did as it was Koori who was making all the screeching.
It has become cooler. It's still lovely weather but there's a nice breeze and this mornng was cloudy. All the birds look much happier, and there isn't that dead silence in the middle of the day, as there has been for the last few days.
