This morning Barrie was deep asleep and he was lying in a relaxed position. That is a good sign. He is feeling comfortable.
He still has some healing to do, but he is a big lizard and I think he is strong enough to recover. He probably won't eat anything for the next couple of weeks so he will need to draw on his reserves. As soon as he is eating again I will need to fatten him up again for winter when he eats less often.
It is just good to see him relaxed. I know he had a couple of very bad days and he is probably very tired. He has been so good about letting me help him. Barrie is such a sweetie.
