Ocean levels rising

We know the ocean levels are rising. I found some pictures of Vancouver and the BC coast that show how much it is rising.

You can see paths that were normally above the tide are now submerged.  It will continue to get worse unless we act on climate change. I am sure these pictures are being repeated all over the globe in coastal areas. What impact this has on humans and wildlife we shall have to wait and see. It could be very hard for birds that nest on the beaches. Will there be anywhere for them to nest in future?
