Stop letting pet stores support puppy mill cruelty
#3
It is important to stop puppy mills.
The city of Toronto has banned the sale of cats and dogs in pet stores to stop some stores from selling the products of puppy mills. This took place in 2011.

Gradually other places have started banning puppy mills, Oshawa and Ottawa in 2016,  Mississauga in 2012,
and Vancouver in 2017.

I am sure if we researched other countries we would find a gradual change in thinking. We want to put a stop to puppy mills and banning cat and dog sales in pet stores is part of doing that.

Sadly I think puppy mills are finding a sales outlet in sites like Kijiji.
The best way to end puppy mill sales is to convince people to not buy from puppy mills. We are the ones with the power to stop this. If no one buys the puppies the puppy mills could not exist.
