Two turtles found chained together, drowning

Two young men out walking spotted two turtles in the water, chained and locked to each other. Someone had actually drilled a hole in the back of their shells and connected them by a metal chain.
It is beautiful to see one of the guys climb a fence and pull the turtles from the water and then free them.

I don't know what kind of a monster would do such a thing. I just know there are good people out there like the guys who saved the turtles. Cutting them free was an act of kindness. They would had drowned. The chain would have caught or they would have worn themselves out and it would have been a frightening death.

So hisses to the cruel person who did this to turtles and purrs to the good guys who saved them.
