Trapped Dolphins die

I was reading this and thought how sad and then I read that they just let them die if they get trapped. They do not even try to help them.

If the water was so shallow and they could get as close as they did to film them, why couldn't they carry then overland to open water. Not an easy task, but better than watching them die.[/quote]

How cold and uncaring is that. Dolphins are small enough that they could move them. It is hard if it is a big whale, but a dolphin, surely they could do something.
