Three more Grey Whales washed ashore, dead

Three more Grey whales have been found washed ashore along the BC coast. There were already two dead in the area in the last two months. This is Grey Whale migration time so the whales are passing through the area. However this is a lot of deaths in a short time.

It is not clear yet how the whales died. They seemed to be thin and malnourished. Hopefully they will get conclusive results so that something can be done.

If the problem is the state of the oceans then this is more than just a few starving whales. Whatever the cause, this is a terrible loss for a gentle species whose numbers are already declining.
