Postie saves a home and pets from a fire

A quick thinking Postie noticed a fire and called the fire department and them used a hose to spray water on the roof of the house to slow down the fire.  His actions were enough to save the house and the pets. It meant that the firemen arrived in time to save everyone and the house itself.

I am impressed. I would have wanted to save the animals, but I would never have thought of using a hose to save the house.
His quick thinking means the animals were saved and they still have a place to live.  For the people who own the house it was the best of all possible outcomes to a bad situation.  Most people would not have even noticed the fire in the first place.
