Pig forced to bungee jump at theme park opening

Just when you think you have heard it all, you hear about something incredibly bizarre and cruel. A theme park in China decided to celebrate its opening by forcing a pig to bungee jump. They tied a bungee cord to a pig and then pushed it off a high platform. The terrified pig fell 223 feet before the bungee cord stopped it. It screamed the whole way. Then the pig was sent to be slaughtered.

The decision to push a pig off a platform was cruel. The pig was terrified. No animal should ever be treated that way.
The decision to slaughter the pig afterwards showed a real deep callousness. It wasn't enough to use the pig in a publicity stunt. They could also make some money killing the pig and eating it. These are people you would not want to be friends with.
They can apologize for it now because of the social media backlash, but they are only sorry the stunt backfired and created trouble. They are not sorry about the pig and his fate.

I hope enough people sign the petition. We want to send a strong message against and group that would treat an animal that way.
