Protest to demand justice for animal rights activist killed by a truck

Regan Russel was killed by a pig transport truck while protesting outside Fearman`s Slaughterhouse.  The truck dragged her more than 15 meters. No charges have been laid yet even though this happened a month ago. The protesters took to the streets of Toronto and at one point covered themselves in fake blood and lay down on the streets. They wanted justice for Regan and they wanted to protest Bill 156. It was passed days before Regan`s death. It is an Ag Gag law that protects  farms and fines protesters revealing the truth about those farms. The protesters want justice for a dead protester and repealing of an unjust law.  They want the bill to be changed to Regan`s law and serve to protect animals from abuse in her memory.

The bill should never have been passed and the driver who killed Regan should at least be charged with something.
I don`t like to suggest that the provincial government is protecting certain people(the farming industry) at the expense of others(animal rights activists), but that is what it looks like.
