Dog covered in tar rescued and restored

A sweet little dog called Champi was found on the side of the road in India. She was completely covered in tar and could barely move. It took Animal Rahat staff four days to remove all the tar. Once she was cleaned up she was transformed into a happy dog. When her fur grew back she became a beautiful dog. 
She now lives a happy life with one of her rescuers.

That was an incredible amount of work to rescue one little dog. Animal Rahat has a dedicated group of people who were willing to do the work until Champi  was clean of tar and had a chance at life. I don't know how a dog ended up covered in tar, but I am glad there are people willing to save her. They are a brave, dedicated bunch of animal lovers and I wish them well in their work. Because of them many animals get a second chance.
