Pigeon injured in bridge fire

There was a fire in a homeless encampment under a bridge in Toronto. It was quickly put out and there seemed to be no injuries.
However, days later a pigeon was found walking along with its feathers scorched.
The bird had swollen eyes and probably couldn't see.
Toronto Wildlife was called and the bird is in their care.

The good news is that the eyes have improved and he can see again.
It is nice to see that a  lowly bird like a pigeon, can get the same care as something  more appealing.
