A Humpback whale became entangled in a shark net off of Australia's gold coast. Sea World Rescue and Research Foundation was there to help. It wasn't easy, but they freed the whale and he swam off healthy and strong.

That was quite an effort. Cutting the ropes on a big whale like that took some courage and some skill. It was good to see the whale was freed and able to swim away safely. We need more rescuers like that. Far too many sea mammals are getting caught in nets and disguarded fishing gear.
