Alligator Snapping Turtle found in English lake

She should never have been taken out of her environment. Worse is releasing her in a lake in England.
She would eat everything that lives in the lake and local mammals and birds as well. Her normal diet would not be available so she would eat anything she can get. She will be a big turtle when she grows up.

Chances are she was imported illegally as a small turtle.
Turtles are so small and cute as babies. People don't seem to understand that they will grow and keep on growing.
