Heartbreaking news with a pregnant Pygmy Sperm Whale found at a Melbourne beach ingesting so much plastic that its stomach outflow was blocked.
Vets suspect that the whale then ate kelp (not a typical diet of Pygmy Sperm Whales) as it felt unwell. Sadly, the whale could not be saved.
