We all know Bloodhounds are used for tracking lost people, but rarely trained to track lost pets.

This charity, K9 Search Dogs has trained their dogs to track lost pets (particularly dogs) They ask for no payment, only deposit required on certain equipment (like cage traps) -returnable after the event.
A very interesting website, and a great idea, and they have had good results!
They operate in the UK only at the moment, but hopefully groups in other countries will follow their lead.
A valuable resource for anyone who has lost their dog.

They are funny looking with their droopy faces, but they are very clever dogs. People with lost pets must feel better just knowing that there is someone they can call.
