A woman in Calgary left her dog alone in a car for two hours. The police were called, but it was too late to save her.
She was already unresponsive when they broke the car window to get her out.
The woman is facing animal injury charges under the criminal code and the Alberta Animal Protection Act.

How is this still happening. How is there anyone who does not know what happens when you leave a dog in a hot car.
She deserves to be charged. That is a horrible way for an animal to die. The dog basically cooks to death.
It happens every year. What will it take for people to learn. Maybe some jail time for anyone who does this will get through to other people planning to leave their dog in the car. This can't keep happening. It is too horrible to even think about.
