Every day is World Snake Day at my house.
Snakes are beautiful, interesting and friendly creatures. If you have never met a snake, this is a good day to do it. There are reptile people all over the place. We are always willing to show our snakes to people. Zoos have snakes and they even do snakes shows sometimes. Someone out there will let you hold their snake. They are so soft and their little tongues tickle when they smell you.

Snakes are very much misunderstood and underappreciated.
It is important that we get the truth out about how important snakes are to our ecosystems.
Snakes eat a lot of rodent pests that would destroy our crops.
Most snakes are not venomous. Most snakes are not that big.
They come in amazing colours and patterns. They are one of the best pets I have ever had.
